I wrote this poem during my freshman year in highschool, while my Honors English class was reading the famous “Romeo and Juliet”:

I lose myself in your eyes,

Then I lose myself in your arms;

You pull me in with your magical charms.

Silent tears fall down my cheek,

dripping with the love for you that I keep.

You wipe them away, and whisper:

“Please stay.”

“Forever,” is my reply,

“And ever, until the day that we die.”

Your hands on my waist, slide slowly up,

Until they find my breasts they now cup.

“Well, Juliet, we’ll never die,”

of course at that moment I start to cry.

“Why,” you ask, and I tell you so;

“I’ve realized it’s time that you must go.”

My Romeo stares and pulls sadly away.

“I love you,” is the last thing that I hear him say.

I watch him go with utter despair,

and hold in my heart, the love that we share.
